I was one of the fans who flocked to their local cinemas to watch the first part of the last installment in the “Harry Potter” series, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, on the 17th November 2010 at 9 pm. Actually i have bought the ticket via online two days before the screening to make sure that i get the best seat i could have.Me and my sister have our seat reserved at E10 and E11..quite good seats actually.
So this is how it goes...the film starts with the speech of Rufus Scrimogeur, the Minister of Magic, informing the wizards community that this is the dark times for magical world as Voldemort has returned to his reign. This time, the trio, Harry, Hermione and Ron were not attending their school,Hogwart to further their studies..however, they are on their journey to find the Horcruxes in the way to stop Voldemort evil plan.
One of my favorites scenes of this movie is that... the scene where the trio try to break in the Ministry of Magic in order to fine one of the horcruxes there. I really loves the humour and actions that been portrayed in this scene, on how they drink the pollyjuice and become somebody else and try to find comfort in the new body they have stuck to..hehe..and the way they try to escape the Ministry building when they have been caught up..is really amazing to me...thankfully they manage to get the horcrux (locket) =D.
The other scene that i like in this movie is when Harry and Hermione went to Godric Hollow to find horcrux and coincidently meet Bathilda Bagshot,a magical world historian...in which..they thought they have meet the real person but actually it was Nagini, Voldemort snake that appear to be a human and try to attack Harry if he comes to that place. It's really stunt me and nearly gives me heart attack when the snake suddenly jumped/appeared from the ground floor to the upper floor of the house to attack Harry and Hermione. Me and my sister both screamed almost top of our lung because of that part..haha..i hope the other viewers in the cinema are not really distracted by us.. =P
The ending for this film (part 1) is pretty intense when the trio been caught by the snatcher and handed to the Death Eater. Harry and the gang almost been handed to Voldemort when the house elf, Dobby manage to safe them...but poor Dobby..in the mission of rescuing them, he had been stabbed on the chest when the Death Eater threw the knife right to him. The death of Dobby gives impact to Harry and his friend as they have been knowing the elf for so long....
Overall, this film is one of my favorites for Harry Potter movie series...i could say that this film gives justice to the original book..maybe because this film has been split into two parts so the storytelling of the film can be more detailed. I am so glad and happy watching the outcomes that they had portrayed in this latest potter film..i give 4 star out of 5 for this movie =)
